Beginning at 18:30, the evening will consist of a Part 1: Main Presentation & Questions and Answers session at 19:00. Speaker Desmond McKey, Ex Home Office Solicitor will talk about Work and Visa, the HSMP and the Ankara Agreement, while Graduate Recruitment Officer of the University of London Careers Department will offer practical advice on “How to write a CV and fill in application forms.” Educational consultant Dr Mustafa Özer of www.click4education.com will discuss the requirements and changes of working life in the UK.
Following a break, visitors will be invited to attend Part 2: Sector Presentation at 20:00, where Oktay Aslan, ARUP will provide advice on those seeking a career in engineering, Simge Özen will provide advice on a legal career. There will also advice give by professional Nej Djelal from IT industry and Nihal Özkan of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs will provide information on careers in the Public Sector. To show the potential of Turkish-speaking youth, Dr Sami Kent at will bring to attention an example of a “Success Story” at 20:30. The evening will end with a reception at 20:45 that will continue until 21:30 where visitors will have the opportunity to meet and network with many other Turkish professionals from various industries including, Finance, textiles and management.
