British Cypriot Campaign Group, Cypriots for Cyprus (C4C) are bringing together leading Cypriot politicians and activists to discuss how a Cypriot-led solution can win the support of all the island's communities. Coinciding with the ongoing peace process, the panel discussion will be centred around the theme: ‘Developments in the peace negotiations in Cyprus: finding a solution by Cypriots for Cypriots.’ Organised by C4C, the event will be held at the London School of Economics (LSE) in London on Tuesday 14 October. Its panel of speakers will include former President of the Republic of Cyprus George Vassiliou, President of the Cyprus EU Association Ali Erel, Co-director of Cyprus Interpeace Project Spyros Christou and renowned Poet Alev Adil.
This event is free and open to all with no ticket required. Entry is on a first come, first served basis. One of the few recent bicommunal events in Britain, C4C invites all UK Cypriots to participate in the event next week.
