FIFA has invited the Turkish Cypriot Football Federation (KTFF) to Zurich for a meeting on ending isolation of Turkish Cypriot football teams. The meeting will take place in July between FIFA and the KTFF. In the meeting KTFF will convey to FIFA its views about the football in Cyprus. A result of the unresolved Cyprus issue, Turkish Cypriot football teams have remained isolated for nearly 33 years.
