Forty young students participated Waltham Forest’s latest ‘1 Community’ initiative to celebrte cultural diversity, respect and understanding.  The young champions were among 200 students from across Waltham Forest who have been learning how they can foster a spirit of understanding and tolerance through a unique program called Swapping Cultures. Part of 1 Community, the Swapping Cultures project is being delivered in four secondary schools and two colleges by community cohesion charity Minorities of Europe. Using discussion, music, art and performance the project hopes to guide the exploration of cultural identity.
