Social entrepreneurs in Islington are invited to the On Target Funding Fair this Thursday 10 May 2007 to find out how Islington Council supports those setting up their own social enterprise. Social enterprises are businesses which exist to help people rather than simply make a profit. Well known social enterprises include The Big Issue, the Eden Project and Jamie Oliver's Fifteen. Last year Islington helped seven new social enterprises get going in the borough. The On Target Funding Fair is on from 10am to 1pm at the London Resource Centre, 356 Holloway Road, N7. |
