Waltham Forest Town Hall played host to an event on Thursday (May 17) designed to remember the victims of homophobia around the world. Council Leader Cllr Clyde Loakes addressed the East London Out Project (ELOP) organised event to celebrate International Day Against Homophobia (IDAHO). Cllr Loakes said: “As a borough, we are determined to deal with all hate crime and make the borough a safe place for everyone regardless of age, race, sex,  religion, disability or sexuality.
